Jon's questions

Jon-

For CORP to be potentially interested in taking over YW as a branchline, that would only make sense if CORP saw a business opportunity there. CORP has already determined that they cannot economically handle the traffic the YW could generate, and so far efforts to get anyone else in who might try for different results has not gone anywhere. Which is why YW is in whatever position it now finds itself in.

For anyone who hasn't seen it yet, find a copy of Matt Starman and Tim Stricker's new book on the YW, published a month or two ago by Arcadia in their Images of Rail series. They did a good job.
