Those are all really interesting images Drew. Curious if you found lodging up there to be priced inordinately steep . A friend and I plan to be up there in a week or so and I had a couple of talks on the phone with proprietors about their high prices and the attitude was that it was just tough. This will be my sixth trip to Vancouver Island and likely my last.
I wonder how many of us had misadventures with animals on our trips overt the years? Jack Neville and I were returning to Williams from chasing the Grand Canyon's 29 in '93 or '94 and got smacked by a deer just outside WMS city limits. Took out my radiator, but the local shop had one brought up by Greyhound from Phoenix that nite and we were on our way in 24 hrs.
