Pool Power West book

Hi guys,

In a previous thread that I started about Four Ways West books, someone mentioned that Joe Shine took a beating on the "Pool Power West" book since he printed way too many copies.

So I'm considering helping him out but taking one more off his hands. How is the book? Anyone have it? Would you recommend it? While I have close to 50 Four Ways West books, I didn't think this title sounded very interesting. I'm now rethinking that.

Is it good? I'm guessing it centers around the 1980s-1990s era. Is that correct?

It's hard to pinpoint the best FWW title, but the now out-of-print Northern Pacific Color Pictorial, Vol. 3 has to be in contention. The captions are excellent. I think that's that Kuebler's only train book, and that's too bad because he seems like an outstanding author.
