Drew, don't feel discriminated against, the railpics folks reject plenty of mine as well. You have to take the screeners with a grain of salt. They are good at the technical nit picking but not so good at the big picture "asthetic" judgements. And they don't always seem to understand the difference between film and digital, and the limitations us old farts put up with using old fashioned film in those ancient and terrible times. Hang in there and keep submitting.
