Indeed, here in the Inland Northwest, it's been sunny and pleasant nearly every day since early July. Been remarkably sunny and dry on the west side of the Cascades as well. Temps have only tickled the lower 90s a few times.

As for me, I've only done a bit of shooting here and there over the summer. Too busy at work, getting daughter off to college, etc. Three days of railfanning in western Montana last month, a few weekdays off to shoot short lines in north Idaho and eastern Washington, and the usual weekend or evening visits to main line action nearby.

Some of us probably just haven't had anything earth-shattering to say lately, and/or have been trying to avoid getting involved with some of AP's recent hot-headed threads. But we drop by here almost every day to see what's happening.
