The UTU membership got screwed. Now the BLE will get the health and welfare portion forced onto the engineers. The agreement had a lot of cost shifting. Any raise in the hourly rate will be lost in the health plan portion of the agreement. The agreement did nothing with lifestyle issues that most people that I talk to would like to see.
