Justin, It looks like I cannot count on getting through the canyon. If the only way through is UP's private road they would probably get real upset to find me in there. I don't like confrontation so I will give up going that way. There must have been a real gully washer down the canyon. It took them several years to get the road fixed between Elgin and Caliente.
