My favorite streamlined styles that ever were applied to locomotives were:
The 20th Century Limited
The Commodore Vanderbuilt
NYC's Mercury

In that order.


UP's Forty Niner looks better in B&W (sorry to say...)

Makes me wonder if the styling of these locomotives was at any part meant to resemble airplanes.....
