Agreed. There will always be those idiots who believe that "technical excellence" is more important than "capturing the moment", which you're clearly very good at. Screw 'em. Contest quality photos are OK, but they're often damn boring because they don't "capture a moment". Your photos don't suffer from that affliction at all, and (like this one) they often do capture moments that can never be repeated again, which makes them far more valuable than somebody's idea of a perfect(ly boring) picture.
