It now seems like Sooooo long ago, Drew. Now not only is Harolds Club gone, Sundowner is closed, as is Fitzgeralds. And " The Trench " SUCKS !!! It is so deep & narrow that this picture cannot be remotely duplicated.
I still remember hitting town early AM Sunday after Winterail 1986. The desk clerk @ Sundowner tried to correct me when I asked for a room " ... up high & facing the tracks. No really, I do want a room facing the tracks !!!" He only charged me $19 Dollars for it !!!
