Could also be the next generation beltpak for operators of remotes switchers, or for the one-man road crew. Down on the ground, lift the cut lever, cursor over to the desktop throttle (or use keyboard command) just like in MSTS, check the screen for signal indications or approaching traffic beyond your line of sight, hope you can remember the right keyboard command to bring 'er to a stop. Reflective safety-colored fabric, of course.
