Why is it the fault of the railroad, the train crew, the U.S. Navy, or the Federal Government fior that matter, that the poor protestor was run over????? This attitude is typical of you liberals that want nothing more than to see this country under the control of some communist dictator!! How about this, IF YOU DON'T WANT TO GET HIT BY THE TRAIN, STAY THE HELL OUT OF THE WAY!!!!! Remember, they don't stop on a dime. When I was an active duty U.S. Marine, a one C.O. was the officer of the day that day. Those idiots were not protesting ammunition being possibly sent to Vietnam, they were protesting the storage of things that, when exploded, will make you glow in the dark for a thousand years. The train in question was empty and returning from a movement to Port Chicago.
