I saw several copies of Shortlines of the PNW on the shelf @ Tacoma Trains 2 weeks ago. I will need to thumb through it B4 buying a copy.
BTW -- The Boeing Employees Model RR Club Swap meet is coming up Nov. 12th in Kent, WA., and it's a great place to find current & out-of-print books. Every year there are several vendors who do nothing but books; perhaps there will be a display copy of the Shortlines book to look through.
I'm not surprised that Bob Yanosey has a serious Penn Central focus. It was the dominant railroad in his area, and his 1st Morning Sun book was on PC Power. For those who think his focus on PC is excessive, consider how many Espee books have been published through the years, including Morning Sun's many efforts. I have most all of the Morning Sun series on Erie Lackawanna; not easy to do considering I buy only from local sources here in the Great Grey Northwest. The important thing to me is that publishers like Bob Yanosey are willing to print the material & get it into circulation.
