The rr lost a pickup, a signal maintainers truck and a brand new rail changeout truck. all were parked off track on the south side of main #2 changing a rail at mp 721.841 which we had marked about 30-45 minutes before the derailment. the Christmas miracle is that a lookout spotted the dust from the engine off the rails and got the men running for their lives. the pix shows what became of their trucks.
