Indeed mommy and daddy probably are VERY happy they are somewhere else! But maybe they should go back and occupy their parents homes instead anyway. At least they would then be off the streets!
Besides (of adult age or not), the mommy and daddy that spawned these pseudo-educated, self-centered, "me generation", spoiled brats; are the ones that foisted them upon the rest of society in the first place. They actually do deserve the awful consequences of their own parental failure. Let's give 'em all back!
The young adults of 70 years ago have been described as the "Greatest Generation", for their overcoming of Nazism, Japanese Imperialism, a host of other evil "izms", and the Great Depression too.
(Tom Brokaw)
But now even the poor in America live in ease and comfort, relative to almost everyone during the great depression. But whereas they rose to the challenge, even in their very real poverty and deprivation; we on the other hand, in our relative ease, riot in the streets instead - demanding some sort of free lunch - or whateverthe heck it is they want that ain't theirs ("re-distribution", anyone).
Apparently, in just a few short decades, we have devolved into the "Worst Generation".
Odd that I would see both in one lifetime!
Was it in fact, bad parenting even back then. . . . .
After all, with Rosie in the rivet shop and papa off to war, who the hell was watching the kids?
It
was all down hill from there........
