Well, up833 has it half - right. The facility in question is actually owned by Pape' Equipment, an authorized Caterpillar Equipment & Engine Distributor & repair company. It has never been a part of Ceeco, and is not owned by Progress Rail. A close inspection several weeks ago found an Amtrak F - 59 backed under the tent while undergoing work on the HEP Engine, not the prime mover. This facility is located on the EwePee industrial lead into the Southcenter area of Tukwila.
Back in September both the Caltrans - owned F - 59's were at Progress rail ( ex - Ceeco ) in Tacoma for prime mover swap - out with new Tier 4 ??? engines.
