Dispersing Camp 6 - Tacoma

Good article about Camp 6 leaving Point Defiance Park in the Tacoma News Tribune aka The Tribune.

Rode behind what I think was a Shay Locomotive with my dad back in the '70's - I felt like I was in the wilderness on my way to cut down some 300-foot tall trees. Coolest thing ever for an early '70's kid.

If you're ever in Tacoma, go to Point Defiance Park. Old-growth forest with water on three sides. It's a very nice place.
