Here's a photo of the bridge, looking south towards Glacier Sand and Gravel's pit and loading dock. I shot this in 1969, back when you could walk down the tracks and not get hassled! With dad being a conductor, I knew most the railroaders that worked along this stretch, even the special agents, so if there was a problem, I could easily talk my way out of it.
I have some shots of trains crossing, from over on the road, which show the bridge from 90 degrees, but they aren't scanned yet. There was a lumber company there, with a really neat old crane, which is in the foreground of the shot I'm thinking of. If I can find it, I'll add it here.
