There is a wye at the museum but the south leg would have to be wired. There was a wye on the south side of Perris about a 10th and D Streets connecting the original mainline (now the Museum's mainline) to San Diego with the San Jacinto branch. The south leg is long gone and probably far too costly to replace. There is no room for a loop at the Perris end but in the future a loop at the museum is possible. So maybe you are right. Double ended cars only. Like that little Birney Safety Car that runs around every so often. Dang.
