My memory (always an iffy thing at best) is nagging me that there was talk at one time of converting the Badger to diesel electric power, or am I thinking of one of the Ann Arbor ferries?

And as an aside, does anyone know if the old promotional sign for the Ann Arbor ferries still exist on M-115 (old US 10) between Clare and Farwell, MI?
