Well, my long story about an historic SP edifice is finally out in print...

Southern Pacific's Oakland Pier: **The MOLE that Moved the West**

The complete story is published in ""The Western Railroader"" for NOV/DEC--2011,
Issue WRR # 704 along with thirteen photographs out of some fifty I submitted for
publication, that were selected by a committee led by SP historian//author Dr. Robert
Church.
The story covers EVERYTHING imaginable about that place in West Oakland that held special memories for me!

I hope everybody likes what I had to say !
For those of you who don't get "The Western Railroader"--I will check with David Curlee after New Year's and see if I can run it on Altamont Press, maybe in two or three installments...
