Just got back from watching switching at the Santa Cruz wye. The intention was to make the final run to Watsonville Jct. today, but an issue has pushed it back to tomorrow. They'll return to the wye to do some work, then eventually make the last run with a hopper and flat car to the junction. There is also a reefer that needs to be switched in Watsonville, so they will do that work when they get down into town. The end of a short but sweet era here in Santa Cruz.
