Four axle power: it might have nothing to do with four axles/track radius/weight, anyway. It may be a fuel conservation issue, or equipment amortization, or who knows. I'm pretty sure you won't see Dash-9 power on the Boron or the Cadiz, but even as I say that, the 312 local out of Fresno has been using two U.P. AC-motored big jacks for a few weeks, even though last night they didn't and were back to two Geeps.

Who knows... even the Boron had four rebuilt SD's for awhile last year...looked good!
