This has been in the works for a while and has been discussed previously on this board.
One item in the article did jump out at me:
"Following approval of the contract, the company will begin moving its rolling stock into Wallowa County, including the 1915 Baldwin steam locomotive known as “The Blue Goose.” Sierra Nevada’s inventory also includes 1930s era Harriman passenger cars."
I wonder if YW's parent company owns any other "1930s era Harriman passenger cars", as I'm sure they cannot possibly be talking about the two coaches owned by Oregon Coast Scenic that are stored in Yreka...while YW has made a lot of use of one of them, and they are still stored in Yreka, they have never been YW property...
