A bit ago I wrote a little story about a HBD who suffered from work related stress.
It seems that things have gotten better, and that, as surmised here, "her" stress was related to work performed by the signal dept.
But, the poor thing is not out of the woods, "she" still has issues.
"She" is at MP 64.0 (on the Geneva Sub, as "she" frequently tells us (cripe, I am tired of "her" voice)); at MP 57 is a local airport with a NWS reporting station.
What is interesting here is the variation in reported air temperatures. It seems that for track 2 trains the reported air temp is +/- the same as reported by the NWS. For track 1 trains, the reported air temp is about 10 degrees less than that reported by the NWS.
There was a time when air temp was a factor in train handling, don't know if that is true today, I assume it is.
