The other, more obvious reason that the photo couldn't have been taken in 1964 is because of SP' general locomotive renumbering that happened between late 1965 and mid-1966. In 1964, the 3035 carried number 4815. A cursory search failed to turn up an online photo of the 4815, but here's a Fred Stindt shot of sister unit 4804: [
