Palmdale is not on the north-south hsr route. LA just wants to exploit the CHSRA to get the state's taxpayers to pay for a gold-plated uber-BART to Palmdale, to benefit real estate speculators. As for Palmdale residents, I suggest doing the new dance that's sweeping the nation. It's called "The Transfer".

Embargoing Tejon is just another transparent but crude power-play by the sublimely wealthy and connected. We should be used to it by now. Gawd, I hang my head in shame for voting for Prop 1A.
