I'm sure he's a great dispatcher, but cell phones transmit with much higher frequency and much less power than even handhelds used on the RRs.

Lets not get ahead of ourselves, there will be problems with RR narrow band FM itself that will have to ironed out long before NXDN is implemented.

I could explain more about this stuff, but decades of RF exposure have left not much more than a hot pocket between my ears.
