When I hired on as a WP surveyor in '78, the line was abandoned but some remnants were still around on the north bank of the ship channel. We had one survey up in the Port area that had nothing to do with the trackage, but some land issue that came from somewhere. As I recall, the track that was still there that was owned by the Port.
