There is no way to directly go from the northbound Fresno Sub onto the westbound Oakland Sub to Altamont. It's a bit confusing at the site itself, as 14 would move geographically northwest on the Fresno Sub across the diamond of the north-south oriented Oakland Sub. Shortly thereafter it would use the wye that connects the Fresno and ex SP Tracy line. Then it's back over the Fresno line it came in on for a short stretch before hanging a right onto a connector track to the Oakland Sub westbound.
