Commute Harriman's vs "line hauls"

Spam prevention code was on the shady side.

Am I correct in remembering that Harriman commutes had double windows
and that "long hauls" had single windows? Because of seating?
Both models represented at Sacramento, properly identified?

Lived in Burlingame and worked in South City during transition to diesel.
Watched the evening show at San Bruno. Favorite restaurant was across the street.

"diamond" intersection at San Bruno: following my suggestion to San Bruno Police, evening grade crossing officers started using white gloves: much better.
Intersection / grade crossing had little or no street lighting and no railroad actuated signals that I remember.

SP engineers all put on great shows.

Does the current public schedule show all of the evening expresses arriving at their first stop at about the same time?

How well has this story been covered before?
