That one must be common.
For a while in the 70s or 80s, the "Fairfield Area Rapid Transit" (whoever they were) in Fairfield Ca, actually sent busses connecting to BART at Concord Ca., with huge emblazoned lettering on the sides reading "F.A.R.T.". I'm sure it turned quite a few heads - got laughs etc, for a while, until we all got used to it anyway. I never saw any such bus though, when visiting relatives in Fairfield. Maybe it was just a ride to BART.
Come to think of it, BART still runs a shuttle in Berkeley named "Humphry GoBART" and one to the Oakland Airport named "Amelia AirBART", at least according to officially printed brouchures.
