"Bingo, Bango, Bongo - that's Roberto Luongo" was a tag first said by Tom Larchied (hope I spelled it right)- a now retired sportscaster from Team1040 radio in Vancouver. I was witness to a lot of comments he said that stuck in the general community, and the graffiti is probably from the immediate area of Vancouver.
As for the horn in Rogers Areans - home of the Vancouver Canucks (or Can-nots....), I believe it is from the BC Ferries fleet of horns, as they are a major sponser. I think they may use the same horn design as do railroads, but knowing that the horn is not specifically tied to railroads in this stadium makes me wonder if the acoustics would be different.
As for Calgary Flames fans, I believe that is the best horn in the NHL, although they are a rival team to my Canucks.
I once saw a shirt promoting Boston Bruins last November in the Dominican Republic that had the Stanley Cup on the front, and "BITE THIS BURROWS!" on the back, relating to the passion the 2011 Stanley Cup Finals had between the two teams.
I wonder if there are any specific teams(NHL, NBA, MLB, CFL, NFL) might use that are directly a locomotive horn....
