On the Coast Division of Milwaukee Road Lines West, only the substations @ Taunton, South Cle Elum, and Renton still exist. It seems that the value of the used bricks, and the cost of cleaning up various icky substances left behind ( PCB's & lubricants plus assorted heavy metals ) made a quick sale & demolition desirable for Milwaukee Road.
