I bailed at 8.10. As I didn't bring my program(Idiot) after dinner. I missed Dick Dorn's program(Mistake 1) and Madera Concreto(Mistake 2). Of the things that interested me, Last of a Breed (1), Rotaries (1A) and Randy's Texas Shorts (1B) as these three really stood out for me. Always enjoy three favorites and the funny side of railroading. I mistaked Al Rose, for the water colorist Ted Rose....(age. Blame it on that memory game...)but enjoyed seeing old photos of places I've been to in California fifty odd years later... Thanks to his family for making these available to us rail-uh, DOGH!. Fan's! Tom Gildersleeve? Had never heard of him. How come? Think it was a bit to long. I like the little K-27 and I know that the lense factor was different back then (50mm take it or leave it) But it got a little 'the same' for me.... though it was interesting to see Farmington as we had visited there in 2005 one brief overnight and the old roadbed was out in front of our motel. Can't really go home can you.... Over all REALLY GOOD! Yes. I to am a newbie who should have been going from the start. This, my third year. It's not like Stockton is far from Sacramento. See you for 35!
