As I'm typing this (9:38 PM Monday March 12) southbound Cascades #509 is stopped between NW 21st Av. and NW 17th Av. with emergency vehicles alongside. A fire truck apparently could not get past the train at 21st, so it doubled back to Nicolai to get to Front St. It drove south on Front to 17th Avenue, then drove between the mains to get to the front of the train.

No idea yet what's going on.
