When the crops start coming in, whoever is switching in Watsonville will be switching twice a day 5 days a week. I remember Wes Swift referring to this period as the deluge of cars.
The new operator will need a place to store and service the power in Watsonville. I don’t think Couch Distributing will be as receptive as they were to Cliff Walters.
