I seem to recall that when Espee took delivery of their streamlined equipment for the Sunset Ltd. in the early 1950s, they had an exhibition train that ran up to Pasadena on the branch. Not to be outdone, when ATSF took delivery of their streamlined equipment for the Super Chief, they ran an exhibition train to Beverly Hills. There's a picture of a Santa Fe Pleasure Dome for the Super Chief sitting near the City Hall in Beverly Hills on the PE line.
