Fantasy you say ? My fantasy is to see the NCRA dissolved. Another fantasy is watching all of what remains of the NWP property wash out to sea with each winter's rainy season on the level of a strong El Nino winter. As a contractor, if my company signs into an agreement, receives advance funds and then defaults on the contract, the state and/or others are more than willing to "hang my company out to dry" if not altogether to recover any unspent/mispent funds for those who provided the advance funds in the first place. But I guess with lawyers who are politicians, that fantasy of seeing the NCRA dissolved is just that - a fantasy.

With the huge amount of funds already given to the NCRA or forgiven, that money could have been better spent elsewhere. But as long as the public trough constantly fills with slop, any notion of dissolving an entity like the NCRA will never happen. Gee, with the BNSF's ever constant on-time performance with the valley's Amtrak service, the state chipped in a few ago and funded some double tracking on their line at no cash outlay by them. On what level of improvement could have the funds given to or forgiven of the NCRA could have been better invested elsewhere.........

Just take a look at6 what is happening with the Baylink ferry system !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
