Given that the Capitol Corridor has both a very substantial amount of actual passenger and freight traffic, it's no surprise at all that no one's complained about what's been spent so far on it.
Mr. Pechner, do yourself a favor and CHILL OUT. Just because a lot of us (myself included) do not share your belief that the NWP has a future does not give you the right to attack us like that, particularly since only a very few of us have actually stooped down to attacking you personally. Most of us are not "blow-hards" (especially Shortline Sammie, who actually has experience with running a railroad, unlike several others here) and it's quite likely that many of us don't support the mess in Iraq any more than you do. I don't know if you've paid any attention, but most of the discussions regarding the NWP have actually been pretty civil lately (compared with what we've seen here in the past) and even the "blow-hards" have avoided a lot of unnecessary rhetoric and name-calling. You've done a good job of presenting information as you get it and not engaging in mudslinging and pointless arguments so far, and I thank you for that (and so do quite a few others here, I'm sure). Please continue to do so and please do not give in to pointless and petty bickering and insults; we've already had too much of that here already.
