"The report noted that Lunn, who was driving home after attending a dance contest in the south suburb, was on the tracks because of a traffic backup, and she was attempting to clear the crossing when the train hit her SUV. But her failure to make sure there was enough space on the other side of the tracks was not cited as a contributing cause."

CN violated some major rules, but stopping your car on the tracks is not considered a contributing factor! WTF!!!!!
