So long as those running for office cannot get their message to the people without having to pay the so-called media for the "Privilege", they will have no choice but to sell themselves to the highest bidder. Ever wonder why we only hear in the news what only two (often only one) of the numerous candidates actually says or does? If it wasn't for the paid ads, the voters often wouln't even know whos running until they are in the voting booth - and then its just some name - happens all the time.

The problem is the MEDIA! and also the MEDIA. The rest of the problem is the MEDIA! They just plain ain't doing their job, but they sure do rake in the gravy for all that advertizing.

As the the fuel surcharges, The formulas used to calculate them are truely quite bizarre - Definately "Lawsuit Bate". Mind you, they are over and above the already agreed upon contract prices and even regulated tarriffs. If someone you contracted with charged you more than the contract called for - you'd sue too.

It is hilarious though, to watch the oil company pots calling the railroad kettles black - what goes around comes around! All great comedy - hehehe
