Went thru on a sunday recently and saw a total of 10 locos in the Watsonville yard, in 3 sets. one set was switching a cut of reight cars. there were 2 HLCX units and the rest UP of various types. seemed pretty busy, yet on this site everyone seems to bemoan it as dead or dying...? Was all this activity unusual?
