Is the story about the "study" no one using mass transit in Transit Oriented Development in the LA Times OP-ED the same one that they just had to print the retractions about--because they actually didn't exist? And, even in their retraction, the study they claim to have cited, did not have such conclusions?

True: Infrequent rail service in LA is a very severe problem, and a legitimate complaint--MTA runs their services with no thought to the consumer whatsoever!

But, if this dufus can make it from the Times to North Vermont in 10 minutes, per his "mapquest" claim, then we don't really need to do anything about traffic in LA after all!
