As I can recall that there was a time in the early 1970's that Safeway (as I can recall) had a wherehouse out between Sacramento and Folsom somewhere off the Folsom branch line a branch line went ran to it.

At this wherehouse there was a public display one time in the early 1970's of about four SP early diesels consisting of and E and F units.

Does anyone remember this event?

Is the olf SP Folsom branch line right of way still in use for anything other than light rail presently?
