The Lakeview Branch and the Modoc Line from Alturas to Perez is operated by "Lake Railway" using a black GP49. The interchange with the UP at Perez which operates the remainder of the Modoc Line to Klamath Falls. Traffic is more or less the same for the last 15 years although I understand it's the highest it's been in years. I don't remember the specifics, but minerals, lumbers and some agriculture products ship, mostly in hoppers and center beams. I'm sure others can give more specifics along with current operating schedules, if any.
