[snip] I was intrigued with this event, since we may be in the area end of May, so I emailed the organizer and received this in return:

"That class has been "disappeared" for the time being -- since the Union Pacific continues to own the tracks (until the real estate deal actually closes with the County), we must observe the private property and "no trespassing" requirements that the UP has on the line. So, we're postponing the adventure until further notice. Once the Regional Transportation Commission gives us the go-ahead, we'll do it..."
