Hutch - Better pack a couple of spare tires, too. Lot of spikes, nails and misc. metal debris along the right of way. I've managed to kill a few ATV tires along the McCloud...

Now, having said that, I've done the stretch between Hambone and Lookout several times without problems on a 650 V-Strom. Of course that has been graded smooth and is good for 60 plus in places. Once you get to about M.P. 6 west of Whitehorse and Lookout, you have to start looking for side roads as the rails are still in place into Lookout Junction.
