On way to Reno yesterday it was snowing hard when we came down the hill above Canby CA.
I know, today is May 5. At about 10:00 I could barely make out the Lake County diesel with about eight covered hoppers and one center beam easing down toward Canby. That is all I could see from the highway, I didn't want to stand around in a snow storm for a pic of snow flanks. Two plus inches of very wet snow between Likely and Madeline over Sage Hen.
