20 years ago I was duck hunting with a 70 year old guy when someone in the group started trashinh "Enviro's". The 70 year old who had lived in state is whole life put it perspective when he said "Enviroment hell, weve only been here 150 years and look what weve done to it, can you imagine what it will look like in another 150". We've trashed this state, look at the north coast with its once vast redwood forests. Damn near all of it cut using some of the worst logging practices possible. I grew up near Fort Bragg and my family was in fishing industry which has been destroyed by ignorant destructive logging practices. They come in and cut the trees to the streamline ruining the Salmon habitat. You get a one time bonanza off the wood and destroy a sustainable industry that could have fed and employed people year after year.Look around, the deer herds are half what they were 30 years ago, the fish are almost gone. I think the Enviros are doing a pretty crappy job. Its time to bring the conserve back in conservative.
